When you complete our booking form you will be asked to agree to the following terms and conditions
Please note - the person booking will be required to agree on behalf of all members of their party, as stated on the booking form.
Participants in the booked activity:
Confirm that they are over the age of 18, and that any participant under the age of 18 will be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times on the activity.
Understand that Emma Seery is professionally qualified and suitably experienced, and holds her own public liability insurance. Emma is responsible for ensuring any other instructor working with her holds the same.
Understand that Emma Seery will maintain high standards of participant care, but that mountain walking involves risks that can be minimised but not entirely eliminated.
Understand that they are responsible for their own actions, and for taking reasonable steps to ensure they do not put themselves or others in danger during the activity, and will observe safety instructions and guidance of their instructor. Failure to do so may result in non-refundable termination of the activity.
Will not hold Emma Seery or any other instructor responsible for any illness, loss, injury or death sustained before, during or after participation in an activity provided by South Lakes Adventures unless due to negligence on their part.
Understand that medical conditions, injuries or anything else that may affect their abilities must be declared on the booking form, and that anything that occurs after booking must be discussed with Emma before the activity starts.
Cancellations. Participants understand that:
no refund or reschedule will be provided for cancellations made within 48 hours of the activity
a reschedule or refund of 50% will be provided for cancellations made between 14 days and 48 hours in advance of the activity
a reschedule or refund of 100% will be provided for cancellations made at least 14 days in advance of the activity, or if Emma decides that conditions are not safe for the planned activity to proceed.
Privacy policy. Participants understand that:
Personal information will be treated as confidential and only acquired by South Lakes Adventures in order to be in touch with you about any enquiry and/or booking. Your information will not be passed on to any other third parties other than the emergency services if necessary.
Emma will take photos during the activity, both to share with participants and to use on South Lakes Adventures website, social media, and other promotional materials. If any participant does not want their image to be used for promotional purposes please let Emma know.
